She Let Go!

She Let Go!
She Let Go!

“Without a thought or word, she let go. She let go of the fear. She let go of the judgments. She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head. She let go of the committee of indecision within her. She let go of all the right reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go. She let go of all the memories that held her back. She let go of all the anxiety that kept her from moving forward. She let go of all the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right. She didn’t promise to let go. She didn’t write the projected date in her day planner. She made no public announcement or put an ad in the newspaper. She didn’t check the weather report or read her daily horoscope. She just let go. She didn’t analyze it, and she didn’t call her friends to discuss it. She didn’t call the prayer line. She didn’t utter one word. She just let go. No one was around when it happened. There was no applause: no congratulations. No one thanked her or praised her. No one noticed a thing. Like a leaf falling from a tree, she just let go. There was no effort; there was no struggle. It wasn’t good; it wasn’t bad. It was what it was, and it is just that. In the space of letting go, she let it be. A small smile came over her face…a light breeze blew through her. And the sun shone, and the moon rose.”
~Ernest Holmes

“So much sadness in letting go, wether it be an image that was created to help you get by, or old ideas, views of neighborhood, country, world or even God… They will hang your mistakes on the clothes line for all to see in a attempt to pull you back, little do they know its the mistake that power you to change, and keep going forward… ” Respect Everyone’s Journey

“All of us are on a journey whether we know it or not, on a journey to express our full potential in this world.. Most of us have learned to view ourselves as a reflection of the outside world, a reflection of what is happening to us, but what if that’s not how the universe works.. What if every thought you think, you are creating your present and your future– what if you are creating the story of your life with the very thoughts you are thinking now, then perhaps if we are willing to change the way we think, wondrous possibilities would start to reveal themselves to us, and our lives would move in a whole new direction… It all starts with the first step….”
