I was shocked today to see Atlanta’s nightclub veteran walk through my studio doors. James Klauber, Billy’s cousin and business partner was my scheduled guest. Both guys walked in and immediately we started joking and chatting hospitality biz.
On the hour, we got into it. We talked about overall wellness for The Fall and The JS Rules of dating. Both men were funny, informative and provided a perspective on the conversation that most women want to hear. They tried to get me to spill the beans on my personal list of must haves and will not tolerate in a relationship.
Billy talked about Ashley Held, a beautiful, young single mom who bartender at Dive Bar and was hit head on going north on 400 last week. Ashley is stable, but critical. The hospitality industry is coming to her side. All monies brought to The Whisky Mistress on 3161 Maple Drive, or Dive Bar on Roswell will go directly to help pay Ashley’s expenses. I took this from Dive Bar’s Facebook page:
As I’m sure that many of you have heard, the Dive Bar family is coming together today to support one of our favorite bartenders, Ashley Held, as she is recovering from injuries suffered as a result of a head-on collision with a drunk driver early this morning. We ask anyone that can, to please donate at the following GOFUNDME link, and please share this for others to help as well.
Stay tuned, as we at Dive Bar Buckhead intend to have a night in which 100% of the proceeds will go to support Ashley in her recovery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and please encourage your friends and family to refrain from drunk driving. Thank you
Billy got real with the status of The Whisky Mistress and his love for Atlanta’s hospitality industry. And we chatted about where to go this weekend during Living Atlanta. Listen here:
Tell me what’s going on in your life. I want to hear from you.
Wishing you love, balance & peace!
